Fear

Sweaty hands but a tight grip

Another day like this you’d think I surely slip

Hold a shifting prayer

The dependence never sails

The hope just never fails

Unlike the world’s ship

You ask what is wrong

Are you expecting a song?

Oh yeah Ill sing to you

But your ears won’t like the melody I make

With every breath I take

Ahh its like a second chance

To start again with everything left behind

But the feeling is never fine

My God, My God does faith affect my spine?

How can it not?

Not that fear disappears

Like my childish years

Or the released tear

It just turns and molds

Into the fear that fuels trust

Makes fear whole

Holy Yours

All my fear is turned to trust

Because I see You

And what You will to do

Anxious unbelief

Let the synonyms repeat

My worry replaced with promise

In a God who is always honest

Honor
