The essence of God’s word must be seen as an interpretive tool appealing to the existential intuition of man in view of the transcendent divine. It utilizes language and its words – the mutterings of humanity’s intuitive yearnings – to convey an eternally searchable desire. God projects Himself through a mirror dimly lit; one by which man only attains a glimpse of the divine spectrum.
Thenceforth cements our assumptions and perspective in studying special revelation. Whereby, it is not so to hinder or discourage one’s efforts, but carry those efforts all the way up into the aid of the Holy Spirit. It, as every Christian function does, delegates the dependence off one’s self and into the hands of God.
