I am twenty-four years old, graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies, and I currently work as a Webmaster and Representative in the Christian Response Center at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. My sole satisfaction is rooted in the magnification of God through the clarification of His truth, grace, and glory found in the gospel of Jesus Christ. My dear wife, Stephanie, is my most blessed gift from God. My writing mission statement: Boldness and Clarity in the Gospel for His Glory.

Raised in Christian schools till I was 18, I believed in God but rarely attended church and didn’t reflect a relationship with Him. During high-school, my respect and curiosity was captured by friends whose life clearly centered around Christ. I also had my heart broken at that time, twice, and it cast me into deep depression. In the pit, I found hope in Christ. On July 17, 2011 I was baptized after attending church by myself for 6 months. I have since been elected and served as a deacon for over a year. I am an Eagle Scout, outdoorsmen, and writer currently pursuing an Environmental Studies degree at Queens University of Charlotte.

I graduated from Queens University of Charlotte in 2012 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Spanish and Business Administration and am currently pursuing my Master of Arts and Religion at Southern Evangelical Seminary in Matthews, NC. I work at a small property management company and foresee myself continuing in real estate.

I left the teachings of my hometown church and the Christian education of my youth as I went off to college. Always having a wildly rebellious tendency, the independence I found in college allowed me to take my rebellion to a whole new level. However, my unrelenting hedonism ultimately left me empty and hungry for something greater. It was in a season of deep despair that I was convicted of the person of Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit. By grace through faith I was saved, and since then I have been learning repentance as the Spirit continually convicts me of my sin and beckons me to and produces in me maturity in Christ.

  1. Taylor,

Thanks for following my blog. I too graduated from Liberty University (’10) with a BS in Biblical Studies. I’m currently working toward my MATS at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. It looks like you have some really good articles on your site. I’ll be sure to read through more of them over time.

    Blessings

Thank you for the kind words. It is always good to find another Alumnus (the finding seems to be more frequent as of late). Your blog is a great resource, and I hope to enjoy reading more of your posts in the future.

      Thanks,

      TT

  2. Hi Taylor, I am so grateful to have you following my blog, thank you! What a wonderful opportunity you have before you after graduating from Liberty! How did you enjoy it? I was there at the table in 1967 as Jerry Falwell laid out his vision for school. It’s always interesting to see how many fine young Christians have gone on to inspirational Christian service because of it. God bless and I’ll look forward to reading your posts.

  4. Thanks for checking out my blog and following me!
It’s always encouraging to find believers of my generation who are passionate about spreading the worship of Jesus Christ to every nation. Too many of us get distracted by inferior pleasures, forsaking the supreme joy we can only find in our Savior. Keep up the good work–encouraging the Christian community to pursue this highest passion.
